This year we turn 30! Another content by us: the book Unconditional Love. We presented it on March 23, 2022 online. The authors of the stories took part as well as the inspiration of this exciting e experience – the unbelievable Dr Paul Browde, psychiatrist actor and family therapist, and Dr Murray Nossel, psuchologist, Oscar nominee and director of the ‘Narativ Inc’ company.
The book is unusual with the fact that the texts present from first person the life stories of grandfathers and grandmothers of the participants in the three-day training on changing the narrative. By evaluation of all the involved the book is highly emotionally influential. During the meeting the participants felt again the way they are connected with one another via the life stories of their ancestors.
For everyone touching the texts of ‘Unconditional Love’ it is possible to remain as a memory the emerald green eyes of the beauty from Burkach, people couldn’t take off their eyes after not only in the village; the shame Toncho felt after his grandson asked his grandmother why he called Moncho's donkey a woman, and she was a male donkey; the beautiful unruly curls of Ismail’s mother, which became the reason for her to lose her life in the factory; the lesson of grandfather Peter from Slavshtica towards children and grandchildren that they do not have to take money from the bank, because it could happen someone else to give it back…; the believe of grandfather Georgi that the politics is dirty work and that one have to balance between what is in one’s heart and what is for people acceptable and to stay in peace with her/himself; the story of Mariyka Dabova, who is telling about the traditions, connected with the patriarchal mentality of people from the beginning of the late century and of the importance of women breaking this model striving to be educated; the memory of Radka Tzanova about the difficulties in life during 40s, 60s and 80s, and her words ‘In Iraq we saw how money could change governments overnight’; the unconditional love of grandmother Tsvetanka; the life beliefs of Bai Tsanko Kumbetara, a wheel ironmonger, who educates his children and grandchildren in humanity, honesty and dignity, and education is one of the most important values he passes on to them; the scent of incense and the few carefree moments filled with songs and games during the difficult war years in the life of Radka Kanakova; … Or the best suit of Grandpa Zachary, worn by him in the last moments of his life, to go of his own accord, with dignity, because of his inability to swallow the great disgrace caused by one of his sons…
