representatives took part in the
event. As a EU member state Bulgaria has obligations in the field of the development cooperation, which we are striving to fulfil despite the challenges that arise from the economical crisis and the limited budget funds for development policies. In this joint effort the non-government sector is our key partner without which development policy cannot be fully formulated and implemented.
These are the words of Foreign minister Daniel Mitov at the official ceremony, at which the Cooperation Agreement between MFA and BPID was signed.
Bulgaria will benefit from all aspects of this partnership, stated Ventzislav Kirkov, Chairman of the BPID board. He noted that the members of the organization are recognized in country as well as abroad, and the cooperation with them facilitates the access to target countries for Bulgaria. The NGOs form BPID have valuable and specific experience in the countries from the Western Balkans, the Black Sea region, Central Asia and Africa.
