Kazanlak, January 16-17 2014
The meeting was very dynamic - the participants were split into 9 small working groups, the members of which varied for the different interactive exercises and worked on a series of tasks, the results of which were presented in plenary and discussed. The organizers' approach included an analysis of the past of the Network - NNC's and its member organizations' activities until now, a snapshot of the current trends regarding child policies - both negative and positive ones, as well as elaboration of specific ideas and formulating of the strategic goals of the NNC for the next 6 years. The culmination of the creativeness was the group’s presentations on the evening of Jan 16th when in the form of games, TV shows and various other public formats the participants presented with a healthy dose of humour their visions on public development and child policies in 2020. The final version of the texts is yet to be worked out. The finalized document is expected to be presented at the annual network meeting in June.
